This Privacy Policy explains how Hisaab Theek ("we", "our", "the app") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application and website. By using Hisaab Theek, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

Account details: your name, mobile number, and email address.
Financial data you enter: expenses, amounts, categories, places, payment methods, budgets, and — for business accounts — clients, income, and transfers.
Vehicle and fuel data you choose to record.
Receipt images you choose to attach.
Device and usage information such as device type and app activity, to keep the app secure.

2. How we use your information

To provide the app's features — expenses, budgets, reports, and business tools.
To sign you in securely and keep data separated by role, so family members cannot access business information.
To send notifications you enable, such as budget alerts.
To maintain, secure, and improve the service.

We do not sell your data. We never sell, rent, or trade your personal or financial information.

3. How your data is stored

Your data is stored on secure servers under our control and sent over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. We take reasonable measures to protect it, though no method is 100% secure.

4. Third-party services

We use trusted providers to run the app, such as sign-in providers (Google Sign-In and mobile-number verification) and cloud storage for receipt images. When you sign in with Google, we receive basic profile information such as your name and email. These providers process data under their own privacy policies.

5. Sharing your information

We only share information where necessary to operate the app, or if required by law. Within a family account, expense data may be visible to the account owner (Admin) as part of normal function.

6. Your rights and choices

You can view and edit your expense data inside the app.
You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account.
You can turn off notifications in your device settings.

7. Data retention

We keep your data while your account is active. On deletion request, we remove your personal and financial data within a reasonable period, except where law requires us to keep records.

8. Children

Hisaab Theek is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

We may update this policy from time to time and will change the "Last updated" date above.
